Choose nets and lures

1. Inspect your gear

   Look at the catching items you own. Read each item’s effect instead of choosing only by its picture.

2. Choose a net

   Better nets can help with aiming, the hold, or the creature’s struggle. Switching your selection does not spend a net.

3. Use a fitting lure

   A lure can make catching easier. Some work better for creatures with matching habits. The encounter shows the applied effect.

4. Spend only when ready

   Throwing spends the selected net, even on a miss. Applying a lure spends that lure. Inspecting an item does not use it.
