Why a favorite pet got expedition XP
Your favorites are your study crew.
Choose favorite pets
Open your pet collection and favorite the pets you want in the study crew.
Finish a qualifying expedition
Some non-battle expedition rewards include study XP. You do not have to feed or fight with the pet for that reward.
Share the reward
The study XP pool is split between the eligible favorite pets. It is not a full copy of the reward for every pet.
Read the short list
The reward shows the first three recipients, then +N more if needed. With no favorites, it simply leaves out the pet-XP section.
